Portland-or-Bust! The Epic team will be in Portland this June to engage, learn, and present at the IRWA 65th Annual International Education Conference. Our very own BJ Swanner is leading a panel discussion alongside Holly Rockwell, Senior Executive Officer at Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s (LA Metro) Planning department, entitled, “LA Metro ‘Trains’ for the 2028 Olympics: Utilizing Experts in the Right of Way Industry.” The panel will explore regional transportation planning, right of way solutions, and funding strategies for building up to 13 new rail and bus rapid transit (BRT) segments within Los Angeles County in time for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympics.
