Epic is thrilled to announce the arrival of Roxanne Grimm, a highly coveted project manager promising to play a critical role in advancing Epic’s ongoing northwest expansion. Ms. Grimm’s journey into the Right of Way field has been unconventional, to say the least. Beginning her career as a Forest Fire Fighter with the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR), her professionalism and personable demeanor consistently paved the way for increasing success. While serving as a Fire Warden, Ms. Grimm managed to obtain her real estate license in 1997 and began selling real estate while working fulltime for DNR. Her transition into a career with a stronger emphasis in real estate took a bigger step when she landed at the Washington State Department of Transportation in Spokane, Washington in October of 2003. Within a relatively short timeframe, Ms. Grimm was promoted from Right of Way Agent to a position as a Property Acquisition Specialist/Local Agency Coordinator, where she supervised the Eastern Region Acquisition team responsible for purchasing the right of way needed for transportation projects in the Eastern Region, and ensuring project funding was protected through compliance with federal and state guidelines.
Noting Roxanne’s knowledge, character and reputation, Epic Vice President Casey Overcamp confidently stated, “as Epic continues to grow and expand into Washington and Idaho, Roxanne is the perfect resource to not only facilitate that growth but to do so while maintaining our high standards of quality right of way consulting.”
Perhaps not surprisingly when considering her relentless drive and efficient multi-tasking abilities, Ms. Grimm has also owned and managed a vintage furniture business over the same string of years that witnessed her professional ascent. With a set of ambitious and family oriented values that overlap Epic’s mission statement, the Epic team is proud and truly honored to welcome Roxanne Grimm.
