Epic’s Oregon Regional Manager, Christine Nickerson, SR/WA, Vice President of Operations, Steve Fox, SR/WA, and Chairman of the Board of Directors, James Overcamp, SR/WA, joined the City of Hillsboro’s Capital Principal Engineer, Allison Bergseng, PE, to present a breakout session at the League of Oregon Cities 94th Annual Conference entitled, “How to Effectively Use Your Eminent Domain Power.” LOC’s annual conference, held this year from September 26-28, is the largest gathering of municipalities in the state. Allison, Christine, Steve, and James led a lively and engaging discussion of the steps a city should take when negotiations are unsuccessful and the condemnation process must be engaged.
