Our ideal candidate has five years’ experience in right of way and an Idaho Real Estate License.   A four-year college degree, two years’ right of way experience and a Washington Real State acceptable. Will be required to obtain a Washington and Oregon Real Estate license.

Epic Land Solutions, Inc, a multifaceted real property/right of way consulting firm, has an immediate opening for a Relocation Agent in Los Angeles.  Must have an active California Real Estate license and be bilingual Spanish-English. Strong reading, speaking, and writing skills in both languages required.

Under the supervision of a Project Manager, the Relocation Agent will be expected to effectively execute the requirements of the relocation plan within the time and budgetary parameters stipulated by the contract between Epic and client. We represent public agencies, utilities, engineering firms and construction authorities.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct occupancy interviews with tenants: interview clients in their residences to establish relocation needs and special requirements.
  • Provide easy- to-understand explanations about the relocation program.
  • Work side by side with tenants/property owners to determine what benefits they may claim.
  • Provide and explain required paperwork, communicate key timelines and processes.
  • Understand each client’s unique circumstances while following the public agency objectives, making every effort to minimize hardship.
  • Work with movers, coordinate with vendors and maintain active contact with tenants
  • Execute documents on behalf of the client.

Epic Land Solutions, Inc. is a multifaceted real property/right of way consulting firm, whose purpose is to acquire and manage real property interests needed by clients to build and improve existing facilities. Epic provides a complete spectrum of right of way services, including relocation, real estate appraisal, acquisition, and property management to public agencies and the private market.

We have immediate openings for temporary, part-time Relocation Agents in Portland. The assignment is expected to last eighteen months to two years, though there is no guarantee and nothing contractual implied as to the length of time for the project. 

Overview

Under the supervision of a Project Manager, the Relocation Agent will conduct occupancy interviews with tenants residing in public housing who need to be moved temporarily due to building renovation.  The relocation agent will work with tenants to determine individual need/circumstances, monitor moves and coordinate with vendors. Tenants will return to their residence or relocate to a new home.

The position will be 10-40 hours a week depending on project phase and will require some weekend and evening work.   Most hours will be spent in the field working with tenants.  There will be office time to record notes and maintain files

Strict COVID protocols are in place and must be followed at all Epic and project locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to regional managers/project managers as directed, and proactively assist to get all tasks done to meet project deadlines.
  • Provide administrative support by answering telephones, responding to and forwarding email, letter writing.
  • Data entry, uploading invoices and receipts using Epic’s accounting software.
  • Directing inquiries to appropriate parties and using independent judgment when handling confidential and urgent issues.
  • Point person for equipment repair and apprising employees of status.

By submitting this Employment Application Form, you are certifying and acknowledging to the following statements of at-will employment:
A. I certify and declare that all of the information contained in this application form is true and correct and that I have not knowingly witheld any facts, circumstances, or information requested in this application form. I understand that all of the answers I have given in this application form are subject to verification. As such, I authorize Epic Land Solutions (“Company”) to verify any of the information given and/or statements made by me in this application unless I have expressly indicated to the contrary in this application form. In addition, I authorize my past and present employers, schools, person that I have named as references, and any other person with whom the Company contacts, to provide the Company with any information concerning my previous employment and/or education as well as any other pertinent information that he/she may have.
