Back in April, EPIC celebrated with Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC), Caltrans, and the City of Lake Elsinore for the I-15 Railroad Canyon Interchange ribbon-cutting ceremony. Opening months ahead of schedule and within budget, the final on-ramp opened April 15 thanks to the collaborative teamwork and California sunshine, concluding construction that began in May 2020. EPIC supported the project since 2018 with comprehensive right of way services to acquire rights to multiple parcels with a variety of business owners and restaurants. EPIC managed the entire right of way process, from cost estimation to Caltrans certification. Darcy Mendoza, RWA, Assistant Regional Manager, attended the event and had worked extensively on the project. Darcy truly loves that this project was something she worked on from start to finish and personally worked with each of the impacted owners to obtain the acquisitions needed. The reward of having done an impactful project for the public good right in their hometown is something that Darcy is especially proud of for this RCTC project. With many more projects on the horizon, the EPIC team is excited and gearing up to continuing making meaningful impacts towards land solutions for the public good.
